Glenwood Prep offers an extensive art and cultural programme. Activities include violin, guitar, piano, ballet, choir, speech and drama and Karate. Specialists are brought in to co-ordinate these and the learners contribute a nominal fee to participate. Each year, pupils who wish to participate in any of these activities are required to enroll, thus committing themselves for the year concerned. The Art and Cultural programme is co-ordinated by Mrs. Smith with +/- 200 pupils actively engaged in the above activities.
Choir
Our schools Junior Primary choir and Senior Primary choir is trained by Mrs Corna Jammine. Our school choir performs at many of our fundraising events, retirement homes and public functions. The choir has developed a reputation for its entertainment value and is in great demand to perform throughout the Durban area.
